I've gotta give my Colts-loving husband credit for this week's theme. He doesn't like the Jags, but they're my team, so he suggested I do black and teal this week. I'm glad I did! The teal mustache necklace might be my favorite item, it's especially clever considering what the Jags' owner, Shad Khan looks like!

Matt and I are moving to Daytona Beach this weekend, and I'm a little anxious. All I've seen of the new house is the outside of the front, and the handful of pictures that were online, and Matt has warned me that the place is "not perfect." So what better solution than to find things to "warm" the place up? (Actual warming will not be an issue, as the place currently doesn't have any air conditioning, and will only have window units when we move in. Eeeek!)

Five Etsy Faves Friday: Druzy Dreams

My current obsession in the land of jewelry-making is druzy. Druzy, or druse, is the term used for a formation of crystals on the surface of a rock fracture. I think that my fascination with it comes from its at once organic and elegant appearance, and I especially love the sort of "celestial" vibe that druzy has.

Now to figure out how to drop hints to my husband that I want some druzy jewelry ...

Every Friday I will be dreaming up a theme and then rounding up five of my favorite things from Etsy to fit that theme. With Memorial day coming up next week, I figured I'd start off with patriotic chevron-print goodies.

And please, while you're enjoying time with your friends and family this Monday, keep in mind what this holiday is about. Thank a veteran if you can (thank you, husband!), and remember that there are men and women putting their lives on the line for us every day so that we can have weekends like this one.
