I'm in the middle of working on quite a few custom orders, and beading isn't exactly kind on my nails, so I skipped a manicure this weekend. But fear not, it's still Monday, and I'm still posting about manicures. 

(I'll Instagram it, too, so it can still be "Mani-gram Monday!")

Have you also noticed that manicure trends are starting to move away from over-the-top colors and patterns to more subtle, nude nails? I'm really loving the nude manicure for spring, so I'm looking forward to trying a couple of these ideas out. Which one is your favorite?

Mani-gram Monday - Bridesmaid Edition

The colors chosen for my friend's wedding last Saturday were a nod to the groom's Irish heritage. Our gowns were forest green, and green, yellow (gold), and black were the colors throughout the decor. In keeping with the color scheme, I painted my nails gold and topped them with a green glitter.

Bridesmaid Hair Inspiration

I am currently looking for updo inspiration for a wedding this weekend that I am a bridesmaid in. I have very fine hair, so I would like a style that will give me a bit of volume, but I still want it to be sleek to avoid outshining the bride (and because I am a bit of a coward when it comes to big hair).

Which one is your favorite? I'm partial to the bouffant on the bottom right, but would love to see a braid worked into it somehow!

If I had an unlimited budget for beauty supplies, I'd be tossing two of these polishes into my shopping basket . . . Because I already own one!

Anyone planning to don some four leaf clovers and drink green beer this Sunday? Myself, I'm hoping to track down some corned beef and cabbage or shepherd's pie!

Just when I was thinking that I had a fairly low maintenance hair routine, I compiled a list of (most of) the hair products in my bathroom and realized my husband wasn't exaggerating. 
I use a lot of stuff!

Not everything is used daily, and I won't go into detail about all of the products since a lot of them are self-explanatory, but I will tell you this:

- The Ion conditioner is good for cool blonde color-treated hair. I use it every other wash.

- Do NOT brush wet hair. A wide tooth comb will get out tangles without causing damage.

- I shower at night, spray heat protection on my wet hair, and straighten it in the morning.

- I use the round brush while blow drying my bangs so they curve under instead of going flat.

- Both dry shampoos are great, the Suave product just requires a bit more blending in.

Other than that, all I can say is that whoever invented bobby pins deserves a medal. 
What little lifesavers they can be!
