The folks over at Pantone named emerald the color of the year for 2013, and why not? This jewel tone is so versatile, it can be dressed up and used as an elegant statement, or dressed down for a casual splash of color. I personally think that this was a great color choice, because it is a classic, timeless color that isn't just a passing trend.
